Dark romance & gothic fairytales
Gigi Joseph needed a home as bold as her worlds. Her site started as a boxed template with a hard-to-read layout and links that fought her brand. I rebuilt it into a fully custom WordPress experience with a misty-forest hero, brand typography, a bonus vault, a styled shop, and a contact form that delivers straight to her inbox.

An Immersive Intro Audio
In a later update, I added a custom intro-audio player to her homepage, so readers are welcomed into her world by sound the moment they arrive. A small, atmospheric touch that makes the whole experience feel alive.

The problem
The original site relied on a rigid template. Body text was hard to read against busy art, navigation didn't match her voice, and the contact form wasn't reliably reaching her. For a dark-romance author whose whole draw is atmosphere, the packaging was working against the writing.
What I built

The result
A site that reads like one of her worlds instead of a template, easy to navigate, easy to read, and easy for readers to reach her through. Delivered end to end as a flat-fee project, from design through deployment on her own hosting.

Lotus Boba
Boba & teas menu
Lotus Boba's original menu was split across two crowded pages with a lot of back-and-forth scanning. I rebuilt it as one clean sheet, organized by category, with brand colors, custom icon-style drink illustrations, and a clear price ladder so customers can order in seconds.
